You bring cheer, tears and hence so dear ….Bappa(Elephant
God) and Mumbai or Maharashtra are inseparable .Physically he may come only for
eleven days ,but we carry him within our heart with equal love and care the
year round .
As I sat looking at the visarjan (Idol immersion) ,contemplating
if I should post it on a global group .I
began to look at him from a stranger’s eyes .Elephant head !human body ? so
many arms …hey, he has a broken tooth and so out of shape ,abdominal obesity .
But look at the fan following ,awesome.Is He a God?
Exactly! the best part of a Hindu God is none of our Gods is
complete. Then ,we humans are only
mortals. (So, consoling )In spite of not scoring very high on looks ,He scores overall
.He is the head of the army ,He is always the
first God in our prayers ,He can get rid of any obstacles ,He is the God
of Knowledge .
Those of us who are Hindus know what his small eyes , big ears
,one tooth and big stomach indicates.
But I believe that the biggest
learning for us is that TALENT ALWAYS
LEADS .Do not look at your limitations .Focus on what you are good at and
remember your TALENT will help you rule
and get accolades and fan following like our ”Bappa”.
